Ten Commandments

Posted by on Sep 27, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

The laws governing our lives in America today occupy rooms full of paper. Nevertheless, lawlessness is rampant. It is said that any person in business today violates at least three laws every day. God’s Law, just ten commandments occupy less than a single sheet of paper. It was sufficient to govern Ancient Israel for centuries and was the basic law that governed the lives of the common people in the Western World for almost two thousand years.

Where the Ten Commandments are cast aside, selfishness reigns and eventually society degenerates into lawless anarchy, inevitably followed by oppressive, totalitarian rule. We may have never seen the extremes but the end points of these two alternatives are life and death, respectively. Man is given a choice: he can obey God and live or disobey and die. It’s as simple as that, but without Christ man is unable to make the right choice. He, in Satan’s bondage, foolishly insists on being his own master and living according to his own wishes. It is only true Christians that are able to obey God and that God uses to bring the nations of the world into obedience. Their involvement is critical to the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

In today’s world, in the wake of Dispensational theology’s triumph, many of God’s people have lapsed into a lethargic wait for Jesus’ once supposedly imminent return. A century has passed and no rapture yet. The Darby/Scofield duo sold us a bill of goods and we swallowed it, hook, line and sinker. We need to assess our failures and begin the recovery process.

It’s well past time to put away our lethargy and get busy, first cleaning up the mess we made and then moving forward on a path of obedience. We are God’s children, blessed beyond the richest unbeliever in the world. Our precious Lord who gave up so unbelievably much for us and asks so little of us, is waiting for our response. There is work to be done, a world to prepare for His return. It’s our job and it won’t get done ‘til we get to it.

I n the Beginning

When we look up on a dark night and see a sky full of stars, what we are seeing is the Milky Way, our galaxy. It consists of hundreds of billions of stars. When we look through a powerful telescope, we can see that some of these objects that look like stars are actually galaxies, consisting of billions of stars. They are so incredibly far away that they appear to the naked eye as a single star.

From this we must conclude that the universe has structure. It consists of groupings of stars, galaxies or star clusters, that are separated extremely far from each other. The question that comes to mind is where did all this come from?

Is this huge, orderly and highly structured universe self-existent, uncreated, as some supposedly wise men say? Is there no intelligent being that put it all together in such an orderly structure? How could it possibly be accidental?

When we look more closely, at our own world we see another amazing thing. The world teems with life, a huge variety of living beings. What was the source of all this vitality? When a living thing, be it a plant, animal or vegetable dies, it disintegrates. It loses its coherence and decays. Living things exist and reproduce themselves, but how did they originate? The simplest living thing is extremely complex and could never have accidentally formed itself.

The presence of life in its simplest form, let alone what we see all around us cannot be an accident. Accidents do happen but they move downward, toward disintegration and decay, not upward to increased complexity.

How then, did living things originate? Certainly not spontaneously, from dead matter. The only answer is that life is eternally existent. There was at least one living thing from which all life sprung. To answer the immediate question: where did it come from? We must conclude that it had no beginning. It is eternal and must still exist. So we conclude that an eternal being, from which all life sprung, still exists.

The ancient Hebrews called this eternal being, the originator of all life, Jehovah. We call Him God. This infinite, eternal being wrote us a book that explains everything we need to know about these perplexing questions.

The Bible is an amazing book. It begins with the words: “In the beginning God.” It begins with the only being that has no beginning. This eternally existent, infinite Being created everything else, all that exists. He created all the stars we see at night and also the perhaps infinite number we cannot see. We live on a small planet in the solar system of a small sun. It is just one of the billions of suns we see as stars in the night sky. He created them all. He is all-mighty. He is God.

The Bible goes on to tell us who we are and how we should live in this home He created for us. It is His message to us, His, oh so very needy creatures. If we want to know more about ourselves and His purpose for us, we must go to our Creator’s book to find out. Go there with a heart that truly seeks, and you will surely find Him.

The Great Commission

Posted by on Aug 23, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.   19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.   Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

The commission is from God, the infinite, eternal being that created and sustains all things. Its purpose is to make the world a Christian world, one in which the entire population consists of born-again Christians. It is directed to all true believers, all God’s people throughout history.

The commission consists of two tasks. The first task, evangelism, was pursued with good success in the early centuries but less so since. There is still some activity in the first directive, the Gospel message and baptizing of converts, but almost none in the second task, teaching the nations to obey God’s Commandments.

The latter activity, making this world a Christian world, has been forgotten and now appears to be very, very far from the minds of God’s people. These, the benefactors of Christ’s huge sacrifice seem to have totally forgotten what should be their highest purpose in life, the thing that should occupy their minds and fill every idle hour. God’s builders, charged with the execution of His world renewal project have neglected what should be their first priority activity in life.

As a consequence, Satan’s forces, seeing this great weakness have risen from their hiding places and are now making an attempt to gain control of America and the entire world. They are employing fear, fear they manufactured, of a virus they also manufactured, to force the remnants of God’s now pathetic army into submission. Sadly, it seems they are having much success.

God’s forces were neutralized and rendered impotent by the adoption of a false, entirely unbiblical theology they adopted over the previous century. Some of its heretical features are:

  1. Jesus’ return is imminent; He’s coming any day now (as of 1970—50 years ago).
  2. God has changed His mind; The entire world will never be saved, as Rev. 11:15 tells us it will surely be.[1]
  3. Hidden a bit more deeply in the writing of J. N. Darby, the originator of these ideas, we find his real heart:
    1. The Bible is not the Word of God; it is paper and ink, a useless book!
    1. God guides His chosen people by supernaturally communicating His wishes to them.[2]

It seems utterly incredible but this perverted doctrine has conquered and now dominates the thinking of the great majority of God’s people. In their defense, we must say that most of them, all their lives, were taught these lies as if they were God’s Truth. They began to spread over a century ago with the publishing of the Scofield Bible. It was an audacious work: A Bible that incorporated the author’s notes on the same page as the Word of God! It deceived many millions of God’s people and they believed, swallowed whole, its grossly false interpretation of God’s truth.

All this is the failure of God’s people to study and learn His Word. Oh, how those that are truly His will hang their heads when they meet Him face to face! What feeble answer can they give for their abject failure to obey Him. Do you believe you are truly a child of God and will see Him in Person one day? If so, what will your answer be?

Gift and Request

Posted by on Aug 17, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

Suppose someone was given a huge gift, say a million dollars, with a request attached to give a hundred each to a few very needy people. What would we think of him if he took the gift and ignored the request? Surely, we would consider him to be most ungrateful and also unprincipled.

Such a Gift/Request has been granted to all God’s people. They have been given the greatest gift possible, one the wealthiest billionaire could not give, the gift of eternal life, life without end!  This tremendous gift was accompanied by a request, the dedication of the remainder of this short life to the service of the Giver. It wasn’t really hard work, nor did it consume one’s entire life. It was, though, to be the most important and receive the highest priority over all other activity.

The individuals granted this gift were asked to dedicate their lives to obeying Jesus’ Great Commission:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.   Amen even unto the end of the world.   Amen (Matt. 28:19, 20)

There are three things here Jesus asked of His disciples and asks of all His followers, all that look forward to spending eternity with Him:

  1. Teach all nations the Good News of salvation
  2. Baptize those that believe
  3. Teach all nations to obey all His commandments

This third request from Jesus has been sorely neglected by God’s people. His workers in this world, have accepted the gift but neglected the request. True, the gift was unconditional, but still, how can ignoring the request be justified?

  1. It is individual’s whole purpose in life that Jesus asks be dedicated to His service.
  2. It redirects or replaces everything else in life.
  3. Is this too much to ask for eternal life, the greatest gift one could ever receive?
  4. Only the insane or those that do not really have the gift would say so.

Have you accepted the gift but not answered the request? If you are of sane mind, your only excuse is a lack of correct understanding of the request.  Please re-read the above and realize that you may not be standing on firm ground. But don’t lose heart; ask God in true sincerity, with all your heart, and He will cladly give the gift. When He does so, you will know, without a shadow of doubt, that He has heard you and responded with the gift, the gift of life, eternal life.

Have you tested yourself and found you already have the gift? If so, I’ll see you later, perhaps only in heaven and we can discuss it there!

The Scofield Bible

Heresy in Disguise

The Scofield Bible,[1] first published in 1908, has the author’s notes adjacent to the biblical text. It was extremely popular for decades after and is still revered by many of its readers. These notes present a unique theological perspective, first expounded by J. N. Darby.[2]

The change began in the 19th century with an extremely godless, one could say satanically led and perhaps satanically indwelled individual, John Nelson Darby. This man spent his life in a continuous attack on the Christian faith that hugely influenced the Western World. He travelled, it is said, to almost every country in the world, and wrote several books, essays and articles. These, disguised as Christian writings surreptitiously and in places overtly attacked the Christian faith. Darby held to much of what God gives us in His Word but deviates at enough points to effectively turn the previously widely held faith on its head. Darby, an extremely dedicated, tenacious and powerful individual taught that:

First, Darby rejected the Bible as God’s inspired Word:

He wrote: “I do not receive the Bible, that is, a revelation of God from the hands of men. I receive paper and ink. The revelation I receive of God directly—“They shall all be taught of God.” The revelation is the divinely-wrought conscience, and, I repeat, in the conscience.”[3]

This is an incredibly audacious statement. It says:

  1. The Bible is not a revelation from God. It is just paper and ink, the work of men.
  2. God reveals His will directly to the conscience of all those that He teaches.
  3. God’s revelation to man is located within him. It is his own God-created conscience.
  4. This is God’s means of teaching. It is directly to the heart.

So, we can just ignore the Bible; it’s just man’s word. God never spoke to His creatures. He just put, within us all we need to know about Him, about sin, righteousness, Christ’s sacrifice for us, repentance, forgiveness, and about how to live in this world.

How did God’s people ever fall for this, certainly Satan-inspired pack of lies that so blatantly contradicted everything we believed before? God tells us that he is a deceiver and the father of lies.

Second, Darby pursued his anti-biblical stance:

He held that entire portions of Scripture are wholly irrelevant for Christians today. He did not hesitate to deem certain verses ungenuine, and at times reworded verses to support his system. God’s Law was limited to ancient Israel and does not apply today.

Third, Darby held to a peculiar system of Bible study:

Open a concordance, pick a word, read all the verses with the word regardless of context, and make a few comments on each verse. This system of context-less “Bible study” occurs frequently in Darby’s writings and teachings.

Fourth, the theological understanding developed over the previous 1800 years was completely rejected as invalid, in favor of Darby’s new method of “Bible readings.”

Fifth, Darby was consumed with the immediate return of Christ:

A strong mark of all Darby’s teaching is an unholy obsession with unfulfilled prophecy. Christians were taught that true Christianity meant waiting to be snatched away any moment; it was vain to do anything constructive in the long-term, because the Lord could return at any moment.

Sixth, Darby taught that it was sinful of God’s true followers to engage in anything to change the culture, i.e. to bring the Gospel of Jesus to bear on civil matters, mathematics, science, business, etc. Darby wrote: “But meanwhile what are we to do as regarding setting the world right? Nothing, and this the flesh cannot understand.” … “I am anxious about a rumour I heard of your becoming a doctor, and I am sure you will forgive my anxiety for the Lord’s sake and yours.” … “when I set about to learn a profession or trade, it is not merely the time, but Christ, and Christ’s work, is put in a second place, and faith is set aside” [4]

Judgment

Posted by on Aug 14, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

Judgment, especially God’s Judgment can be very severe and painful. God judged Israel, His chosen and highly blessed people over and over again for their lack of faith and He is judging America’s Christians today for their failure to obey Him. Both these nations were highly blessed but then turned their backs on the God that provided the blessings.

Israel did so by continually reverting to idol worship. America did the same but her idols were ideological rather than physical. Godly worship was replaced by the worship of an easy life, one with much leisure time and fun time and as little attention to God’s work as possible. We failed to obey Christ’s command to teach the nations and permitted the godless to gain more and more power.

The aggregate of all these failures has resulted in the current socio-political situation. The, very rich and very powerful, agents of Satan have now made a bid to take control of America. They are employing their virtually total control of the media and a majority of the elected officials in both State and Federal offices in this concerted effort.

They have not yet begun to employ the control they already have of the nation’s money and monetary systems. This is an enormous force, capable of bringing the nation to its knees in short order. It has been used in the past; the Great Depression of the 1930’s was initiated by an abrupt reduction in the money supply.

All this power is now in Satan’s hands but Satan is limited, ruled and used by God for His purposes. Just  what might HIs purpose be in all this chaos? It may well be. simply to teach His people that they really need to obey Him. They have been given their assignment: to work toward making this world a Christian world.

They, however, deceived by Satan’s agents, have utterly neglected it. They were very subtly led to believe that God changed His plan, an absolute impossibility! God sees the end from the beginning and never ever changes His plans.

The task before those that see this is to wake up their sleeping fellow believers, to show them what God really requires of them. As soon as this begins, God will lend His support and this whole upside-down situation would rapidly change direction. There have been decades, perhaps a century, of decay that needs cleaning up and only God’s people can do it!

Take heart, it can and will be done:

And the seventh angel sounded;  and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;  and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Rev. 11:15)

Born Again

Posted by on Aug 12, 2020 in Articles, Other | 0 comments

Born all over again? Really?  A man named Nicodemus once asked Jesus a question:

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?  can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5)

Jesus told Nicodemus and tells us here that there are two kinds of births, the physical and the spiritual. This means there are two kinds of life, physical life and spiritual life. A person can experience one form without the other, both together or neither. True Christians have both here and only spiritual life in heaven. Unbelievers have only physical life here and no true life at all in their destination—hell.

We all know the meaning of physical life but just what is spiritual life? It is to have the Holy Spirit present within. This is not possession as in demon possession; it is a presence, a guide, a teacher that gently guides the recipient who decides for himself the extent to which he follows. A godly person is one that follows more closely and more often, the Spirit’s leading.

The presence of the Spirit frees individuals from Satan’s bondage and enables them to “see the kingdom of God.” It brings into being a whole new species, one that has superhuman abilities. They can see what unbelievers cannot see. They truly are, in this physical as well as moral sense, new creatures.[1]

God’s people are given yet another gift, lifelong purpose and meaning. They have something that can fill their lives here and that they will be able to look back to in eternity future. They can serve God and be the agency He employs to change the world. They can teach the nations to obey God’s commandments.[2]

Have you been born again? Perhaps you’d like to be but it’s something only God can do. He is very willing to and will do so for everyone that asks Him with true sincerity of heart. Ask Him today! One day you’ll see it as the best thing you’ve ever done.

[1] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Cor. 5:17)

Dominion

Posted by on Jul 22, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

The dominion mandate is found right at the beginning of the Bible, in the first chapter:

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:  and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26-28)

These instructions were given to Adam and Eve, our original parents. They were to be God’s overseers charged with the care of the earth. Later, after they forsook their responsibility and were no longer able to fulfill it, the mandate was given to Christ, the second Adam, and to His Bride, the new Eve, all true Christians:

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.   Amen.”  (Matthew 28:18-20)

We looked at this passage earlier with respect to the Two Tasks, baptizing and making disciples. Here we wish to focus on it as a call to dominion. We see Christ, first acknowledging His possession of all power and authority on earth and then giving His instructions to His bride.

It is a repeat of the original mandate given to Adam but with a difference: because of sin, a new element has been added. There are commandments, a law to be taught and obeyed. This wasn’t needed before sin was introduced but is necessary now. The nations need to be taught to obey the rules of life, the rules they relinquished when Adam sinned. They became like children that need to learn to stop harming themselves by doing wrong and foolish things. They rejected God and His law that gives life and have been hurting themselves ever since (for thousands of years).

This is the new Dominion Mandate that Christ has given to His Bride, the born-again people. As our text tells us, this is a teaching task; it must come from a loving heart, one that is concerned with the plight of unbelieving neighbors and wants to provide as much help as possible to a lost and needy generation. The tools to be employed are reasoning and persuasion and not force or trickery. The unbelieving world must come willingly, knowledgably, and whole-heartedly into the kingdom of God. There are no other means of entry.

We, as God’s ambassadors, must remember our place. We cannot save anyone; it is God who builds His kingdom. He employs His total control of all things to bring about the conversion of each new member at the exact point in time and in the precise way He predetermined in eternity past. Their names were written in His book before He made the world (Matthew 25:34; Ephesians 1:4; Revelation 13:8, 17:8). As His obedient people, we must remember that it is God that saves, and we are merely one of the means He uses to that end. That said, we must also realize that our actions, the work we do, is significant. When we keep these two facts in mind, we can focus on doing God’s work His way without anxiety as to what the result will be. We may desire a particular outcome but are not cast down when it fails to appear. Our concern should be: did I do and say the right things? Did I act in accordance with His command word?

The citizens of the kingdom bear the responsibility of building the kingdom of God, the kingdom Christ announced when He came (Matthew 4:17, 23). They see the Great Commission as their commission, the central aspect of the work they do for Christ. They understand that God has given them this task and that He expects them to take it seriously. It is the focus of their life’s work, their primary purpose in life (Matthew 6:33).

As they grow in the knowledge of God’s purposes and begin to see the awesome responsibility God has placed on them, His people adjust their priorities accordingly. What may have seemed important to them before, dwindles in significance and pales before God’s requirements in their lives. As their numbers increase, their influence grows out of all proportion to their relative fraction of the population.

Each individual acts as the Spirit leads; one may feel a particular concern for the public schools and spend much effort to shed light on their godless teaching. Another may feel the need to speak and act to expose the horror of abortion or the immorality of the media. Most, will focus on their immediate environment, touching those within and passers-by with love and godly concern.

There are many ways of service open to each believer and the Spirit leads each one to the work He chose for that individual. Some will have a greater scope of influence, some less. All, however, work to overcome their natural trepidation and to develop a propensity to vigorously defend the faith and oppose godlessness wherever it appears.

It is this internal desire and acquired ability to promote and defend the faith at every opportunity that is the strength within each child of God. In the aggregate, it becomes an irresistible force that will, without any question whatever, conquer the world for Christ. Don’t hold back, be a part of it. One day you will rejoice and be glad you did!

The end result of all this is dominion; not dominion by some elite individuals but dominion by God through His law-word. It is a dominion that has its source and is exercised from within the individual; one in which God is recognized as the sovereign and His law is obeyed from the heart. It is a dominion in which each individual participates to the extent he is able and as he chooses. It is a dominion that affords the greatest freedom possible for all.

Our Universe

Posted by on Jul 20, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

When, away from the city lights, we look up at the night sky, we are humbled by the immensity of what we see. We see the stars, so many stars we can’t begin count them. Astronomers tell us that there are hundreds of billions of stars. Even more astoundingly, they tell us that some of the stars we can see are actually galaxies of stars, each one consisting of hundreds of billions of stars. These are very far away, far outside our own galaxy, the Milky Way.

We see from this that stars are not just scattered around in space but are grouped together in galaxies. We see also that galaxies appear as distinct, separate entities readily distinguished from one another. This shows us that the universe has order.

If we imagine ourselves traveling in a space ship at the speed of light (186,000 miles/second), we would see our galaxy diminishing in size and eventually appear to us as a single star. It would be surrounded by other points of light, each of which being a galaxy of stars. It might appear to be our usual night sky but we would actually be looking at a galaxy of galaxies, hundreds of billions of galaxies, each one consisting of hundreds of billions of stars.

The assumption in the above is that what we see as true in our telescopes may also be true on a larger scale. In other words, we know that some entire galaxies appear to the naked eye as simple stars. If we were to move far away, well outside our own galaxy, so far that it appeared to us as a single star, our sky would then be filled, not with stars but with galaxies that appeared to us as stars.

How many times could we repeat this process and with each step further away be able to see a hundred billion times as many stars? Is there no end to it? Is it infinite? Very simply, we should know the answer: it may be truly infinite and never end! Why? It is possible because the God that created it all is, in His very being, infinite! Just as there is no end to the infinite God, so there need be no end to His extremely orderly creation.

This is the God we worship or, some of us foolishly, so very foolishly! fail to worship and instead deny His existence. Are you such a person, so foolish as to believe that this huge but highly orderly universe created itself? Really? Or is there a greater Being, an infinite and eternal Being that created it?

Isn’t it just exactly such a Being the Bible gives us? This book has survived, virtually without change, for thousands of years. Were the ancient, supposedly primitive, peoples wise and well-equipped enough to produce such a work without divine assistance? Hardly! The only answer is that the Bible is truly the Word of God, a word we must respect and obey!

Will Evil Rule?

Posted by on Jul 15, 2020 in Articles | 0 comments

God is good. He created man to be like Him, to do good with the life he was given. He created Satan to test man, to shape him as in a fiery furnace, to mold him into the shape He desired.

God chose Abraham, Moses, the prophets and made them teachers but all failed to change man, as God knew they would. He sent His Son, came Himself in a sense, to die for His creatures. He took the penalty for their sin on Himself and died in their place so that His sinful creatures might live, live forever with Him.

He gave His creatures two thousand additional years to learn how to live as they should. They, as always, went from one failure to another. History has indeed been a long succession of seeming gains ending in failures. We, God’s so very highly blessed creatures have never been able to grow into God’s model, His desire for us. The evil Satan introduced into God’s creation seems to have overcome all God’s attempts to lead mankind into an acceptable form.

Why doesn’t God just wave a wand and fix everything? It seems that He wants His creatures to know good and evil and to choose the good because they are good! And it seems that this is the process that is required, that we must go through to bring about this end result.

Evil has grown incredibly powerful in the last century or so. It now appears to have sufficient confidence to attempt to overthrow every democratic form and establish a dictatorship with sufficient power to drive the faith entirely out of public life. Why does God permit this?

Very simply, it is because He has given us, His chosen people, responsibility for this world. We have work to do that we’re not doing! The world is overrun with all sorts of evil and we. God’s workers, are just sitting back and watching. We have permitted ourselves to be deceived by Satan’s workers and have neglected God’s command, the command to teach the nations to obey Him (Matt. 28:18-20).

What does this mean, teach the nations? It is very simply a command to make this world a Christian world; but is this possible? It is certainly impossible without sufficient time, and that’s a long time, a time measured in generations!

It cannot possibly be accomplished if Jesus is returning soon! So, what’s wrong here? We’ve got some signals crossed; we can’t do both. Either we can’t teach the nations and make the world a Christian world or Jesus is not coming so soon as many of today’s Christians seem to believe. Will there be enough time for us to do as God commands? Did God give us an impossible assignment? Or is there something we don’t understand correctly? Have we been led astray by false teachers?

I don’t know which side you will take but I’m ready to believe God and question anything that contradicts His Word in the slightest degree. There are many that hate God in today’s world and many, even in pulpits, that knowingly or unknowingly distort His Word and lead His people astray.

We have listened to false teachers and must repent of our foolish, sinful behavior. We have neglected the only work our loving Lord has given us to do and need to get about the task He has assigned us. The world is waiting for our ministry. It has been neglected too long; but God is patient and there will be time enough to:

… teach all nations, … to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.   Amen (Matt. 28;19-20)

This is nothing less than Jesus’ command to all His true followers to make this world the Christian world it one day will surely be.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Rev. 11:15)
