A New World

A new world lies ahead.  It’s a much better world than we are in today.  It’s a world filled with people that care for each other, as brothers and sisters in close families do today.  It’s a world in which everyone you meet is a friend, a world filled with people that selflessly love one another.  It’s a world in which all have been born again, worship God in true sincerity and trust Him completely.

When and where you ask, is this world to be found?  The Infinite, Eternal God that created all things tells us that it will be here in this world one day:

And the seventh angel sounded;  and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;  and he shall reign for ever and ever.  (Revelation 11:15)

It will be very different from the world that we live in today.  The kingdoms or governments of the world will be done away with and replaced by God’s rule as He resides within the hearts of His people.  The situation we have today, in which a few rule and everyone else obeys, will be gone forever.

God’s people will be self-governed, living in families that reside close together in small communities as He commanded:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:  for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?  and what communion hath light with darkness?  15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial?  or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?  for ye are the temple of the living God;  as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them;  and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.   17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;  and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.   (2Corinthians 6:14-18)

  1. No fellowship with unbelievers.  Light cannot communicate with darkness
  2. God’s people are the temple of God.  Unbelievers are infidels
  3. Come out from among the unbelievers and be ye separate says our God
  4. I will receive you and ye shall be my sons and daughters

As more and more of God’s people obey these commandments, their communities multiply in number  and eventually cover the earth.  The many civil government entities of today become unnecessary and obsolete. They shrink in size and number and gradually dwindle away.

Eventually unbelief becomes a thing of the past.  Very young children are born-again, perhaps without any noticable change whatever.  The world is then ready for Jesus’ promised return and return He will in all His glory.

And, behold, I come quickly;  and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.     (Revelation 22:12,13)
