What is the significance of the title, Faith on Earth?
The title comes from the words of Jesus found at Luke 18:8, “…when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” This question, which must be taken seriously, implies that man has responsibility for the maintenance of the faith. Beginning with this thought, the book develops the point that more is expected of the Christian than just telling people about Jesus. It is the whole culture that needs to be brought into line with God’s word.
The book develops this concept of Christian responsibility. In doing so, it brings out an aspect of the depth of meaning, vigor and richness that should characterize the Christian life. There is much more to being a Christian than most Christians appreciate today. There is work to be done for the Lord, work they haven’t been told about.
